The Artisans

Based in Huacalera, Jujuy, Argentina, Tejedores Andinos is a collective led by Celeste Valero, a fourth-generation Kolla weaver. With over 25 women artisans, they preserve ancestral Andean textile traditions through 100% handmade pieces, crafted using premium natural fibres and plant-based dyes from roots, flowers and bark. Each creation is a tribute to their land, culture and identity, a living connection to the past. Their work empowers communities, honours Indigenous heritage and brings the spirit of the Andes to life through every thread.

Based in Salta, Argentina, Humberto Juarez de la Camara is a multidisciplinary artist who works with metals and semi-precious stones sourced locally from across the province. His creations explore the balance between permanence and ephemerality, representing the fleeting beauty of nature and the cycles of life. Each piece is entirely handmade, shaped by the textures, colours and energies of the earth. Humberto’s work honours local materials, reimagines ancestral craft and transforms raw elements into objects that invite reflection and connection.

Based in Cachi, Salta, Argentina, ChiCa, part of the Hilando Culturas programme, is a brand inspired by the traditions, landscapes and craftsmanship of the Calchaquí Valleys. Its name, an anagram of Cachi, reflects a deep connection to the land and the cultural heritage that shapes each piece. Working alongside local artisans and producers, Chica preserves ancestral knowledge through very limited-production textiles and leather goods. Their work strengthens local communities, honours generations of craftsmanship and brings the spirit of northwestern Argentina into contemporary life.

Founded by Adriana Marina in 2009, Animana preserves the ancestral textile traditions of Patagonia and the Andes through ethical, sustainable fashion. They work with more than 7,500 artisans, of which 85% are women across Andean communities, creating pieces from natural camelid fibres using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Each creation reflects a commitment to fair trade, environmental respect and cultural heritage. Their work empowers local communities, values Indigenous knowledge and brings the craftsmanship of the Andes and Patagonia to the world.

Based in El Colte, Seclantás, Salta, Argentina, Artesanías Terito Guzmán is a family-run workshop led by master weaver Rodolfo “Terito” Guzmán. Situated along the Camino de los Artesanos, they proudly continue generations of rich Calchaquí textile traditions. Using traditional hand-operated looms, natural fibres such as sheep, llama and alpaca wool, and eco-friendly plant-based dyes, Terito and his family create high-quality handmade textiles that deeply honor the land, ancestral wisdom and vibrant Andean heritage.

Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, DB Jewellery is led by Delfina Balantzian, a talented designer with over 12 years of experience creating unique, handcrafted pieces that beautifully blend art, nature and femininity. Since 2011, Delfina has studied jewellery design, mastering a range of specialized techniques. She further enhanced her skills by completing a Master’s in Jewellery Design at IED Madrid, where she focused on 3D design, collection development, and technical detailing. Her work reflects creativity, precision, and a passion for timeless elegance.
